Congers, New York Speed Traps

There is a causeway that crosses the lake at the bottom of a long hill on Lake Road. The speed limit is 30mph and is very hard to maintain unless your foot is on the brake the whole way down the hill. Very often, there is a cop at the bottom of hill at the causeway.

Ridge Rd. is about a mile or two long which connects Highway Ave. with Lake Rd. in Congers. This is a 30 MPH zone which police monitor closely. Radar detectors often will not pick up in this area.
