Town of Manlius and state troopers love to catch violators here! They sit and blend in with cars in the parking lot. Speed limit is 55 and the intersection is a four way stop. Nail you for speeding or accuse you of running the stop sign. Seen many people stopped on this road and intersection. Some nights seatbelt and registration checks take place.

Watch out after 11:00 pm. Night watch is the worst for the Manlius police. They hang out at the gas station, smoking, getting coffee, then pull into Towne Center and wait for someone to go 36 in the 30, write a ticket or just harass them insisting they are under the influence for 10 minutes. Numerous
experience with this area.. Be polite act like they know it all you can go free. Give them a hard time they warn there buddy up the road and he harasses you next week. (true story)

Favorite one is on Salt Springs Road, by the IC school entrance. They will sit on a side road, (ie: Redfield) and nail people doing 40 or 50 in the school zone while talking on their phone!
