Friendship, New York Speed Traps

Changing from 55 MPH down to 30 as your are coming into the town. Village police usually sit on the right of the road back in by a dirt pile.

Rt. 275 going through Friendship is 30 mph and they like to sit in driveways along the small section. It’s easy to speed through seeing you’re coming off a 55 mph in both directions.

Troopers are everywhere in this area! First of all the whole area is under construction. But even if the workers are not working the fines are still the same. I counted 2 Trooper cars at Exit 30 one in the eastbound lane and one in the west bound lane. 1 more that got me with a laser off the overpass at Exit 30. After my stop with him I continued westbound and saw one more pulling out of the median to chase an eastbound car near the rest area they have. He had been totally invisible to me and I wouldn’t have seen him if he hadn’t started moving. Last but not least I saw another Trooper near Exit 29 clocking eastbound traffic from the uturn there. That’s 5 Troopers in a space of 5 or 6 miles. Be careful the stealth slick top car that has no lights on top and tails you undetected is there too!
