Greece, New York Speed Traps

on ramp of 390 S from vintage lane. Greece police, monroe county sherriffs and NY troopers. Speeding, seatbelts and inspection/registration and whatever else they feel like hasseling you for.

Coming from the city towards Charlotte, on Lake Ave. As you are passing the cemetery, on the right is the main entrance to the cemetery. Usually there is an unmarked car sitting in the entrance with someone leaning against the car in everyday clothes with a radar gun, and cops are further down the road pulling people over. Usually get pulled over right before or after Wyndham Road. I’ve only seen this happen on my way home from work around 5pm once in a while. It’s not regular.

Heading on Elmgrove road either north or south, Police hide slightly tucked back in the enterance to Canal Ponds Park, waiting for drivers to speed past.

Cops sit in the enterance of Hope Lutheran Church and wait for people to speed by. i see at least 3 or 4 people pulled over a day, particularly in the morning and at night. It is a very open, 2 laned road. So its hard to stay under 35, which is the posted speed limit.

There is a road the runs along the Waterfowl Assoc. building that ends back by the woods. They sit back there with their light off. The speed limit is only 35 so after coming around the bend it would be very easy to go faster than that.
