Greenbush, New York Speed Traps

several locations on NY 151 east of the I-90 overpass in the zone posted 45mph. East Greenbush police set up along here with some frequency; there are several good spots for them.

When you come off I-90 and take the Old Miller Road shortcut to avoid the light on Miller Road for 9&20 there is a patrol car that hides on your left in the bushes past the first curve in the road. The speed limit on the road is 30 mph – you will be stopped for anything over that.

Although much of Best Road is posted 45, typical speeds are 55-65. Town Cop sits either on a curve or in front of a white barn just after the limit drops to 40. Seems to be their mostly in the afternoon and on weekends. State trooper station is also nearby and they cruise Best Road w/instant-on.
