The State trooper sits in the median and stands out side the patrol car to view the vehicle going in his direction. Sometimes the trooper will work the West bound or the East bound direction the same day. Operating in a marked navy blue and gold trimmed vehicle with no roof lights visible for camo reasons.

At the "Old Mobil Gas Station" there is often a State Trooper / Greene County Sheriff patrolling the intersection of Route 81 & 32 monitoring speed and observation of traffic lights / crosswalks.
