Hamburg, New York Speed Traps

This used to be a 55 mph road but due to increased residences it is now 45 mph.
Police will sometimes be in the VFW post parking lot but,lately they seem to prefer cruising the stretch from the village tracks to rt 20. Most people are caught going towards the patrol cars. I regularly travel this section at 50 mph with little consequence.

They sit in the driveway of the Mt. Vernon sewer bldg and catch you as you make the curve on Rogers going toward the Lakeshore Rd., before the RR tracks. You can’t see them until its to late. Usually in non busy hours.

Sits in old steel plant entrance road with radar aimed at cars travling west on Rt. 5 coming from Buffalo during the day. At night will be parked on the opposite side of the street just before the bridge by the steel plant picking up the cars coming east out of Woodlawn going to Buffalo.

They sit in the Knights of Columbus parking lot on Pierce Ave. usually in the morning sometimes at night.
