Irvington, New York Speed Traps

This is an infrequent speed trap, but one that is surely a revenue generator, since the limit through there is 30 mph but almost ALL vehicles naturally drive it at 40-45mph. There’s good visibility and it’s a four-lane straight-away with little side traffic. The police park in an entrance-way on the west side of Broadway that is partially hidden behind low stone walls. They can "shoot" the radar gun at northbound or southbound vehicles. I’ve been through OK at 35mph, and it may be that the police are ticketing only the more egregious speeders, like those going 45mph or better.
