Nrthrn State/Grnd Cntrl Pkwy near Ex 25 East and West bound
On the Northern State Pkwy just west of exit 25, there is an opening in the center divider, that both NY State Troopers and NYPD, both sit there and wait for speeders. It’s located before and after curves in the road, so it’s very easy to approach them without spotting them.
Northern State Parkway near Exit Number 25 Eastbound
Just past the Queens/Nassua border eastbound at the Lake Success exit. Troopers, can be up to three cars(barracks is around the corner). The road is downhill, curved and the limit increases to 55.
LIE Between exits 32-34 east and west bound
LIE is generally patrolled by Nassau Cty hwy patrol but between 32-34 Lake Success has their own police force enforcing speeds. Small town means higher than normal patrols. They are in new marked Impalas with full light bars on top. Personally witnessed officer paceing cars and pulling them over. I do not see a external radar on their cars. Possible running Stalker radar inside cars.
