Lloyd, New York Speed Traps

The Mid-Hudson bridge is marked as 25 mph, which is the lowest speed limit for any bridge in the Hudson Valley, and is counter-intuitive for the road. It is enforced rigorously by the Lloyd police on the western end as you leave. I was driving 33 mph and was pulled over for driving 43, which does not seem possible.

Cops sit at various spots on a straghtaway between 299 intersection,and Esopus on Rte. 9W especially near the truck weigh station pull off.
