FDR Drive near Brooklyn Bridge
Upon approaching the exit to the Brooklyn Bridge on the FDR drive n/b, Highway 1 sits on the zebra stripes and guns you with Lidar if you are getting off on that exit. This one particular officer will literally stand in the middle of the roadway to make sure you pull over. Also, when he gunning you, he gets in a combat stance and it absolutely looks like he has got a handgun drawn down on you. Be very cautious in this area, if you don’t get a speeding ticket you just might crash ’cause you think some lunatic is tryin’ to shoot you!
1st Avenue near Houston Street
Marked cruiser sits on Houston east of 1st Ave. and watches for cars traveling north on 1st Ave crossing Houston running the light . I see someone caught almost every day between 6and 6:30AM.
Harlem River Drive near Exit Number 155th Street Exit
Northbound Harlem River drive. Marked car sits in breakdown area on the right shoulder about 1/2 mile before ramp to GW Bridge.
FDR Drive Expressway near Broad Street
Southbound FDR Drive as it comes down to the tunnel under Battery Park. Marked car sits in right lane zebra stripe as cars come over the hill down to the end of the FDR drive. Slow down before you can see over the crest of the slope, or he will tag you.
