They sit on the Y where 4 and 32 split going south.

The Stillwater police sit in the cemetary on the right hand side of the road as you are coming into mechanicville down that little hill coming from the 4 corners!

If you are coming down the hill from the school into Mechanicville, beware, the police will sit in the cemetery. You are traveling down hill, so it is easy to have your speed creep up.

They will sit in numerous areas along Central Ave. Favorite spots include the DiSiena Furniture Store parking lot facing southbound. They even plow a small area here for the police cars to sit back farther. Another favorite is the very first light coming into the City of Mechanicville. They sit diagonally left at that light as you are coming northbound. The VFW post before "Bubbles Restaurant" going northbound is the favorite for the Expedition vehicle Officer. The Mechanicville Police seem to have someone pulled over every morning or night as you are driving through. If you have a radar detecter don’t count on it working. They seem to be using "instant on" on the SUV police vehicle while the Impalas use the type of radar that emits a beep to them when a vehicle is over a certain set speed. Don’t bother to go more than 5 above through the whole city or plan on paying up.
