Palisades Interstate Parkway Between Exits 7 and 8
The State Trooper Vehicle is on a slight hill and is postioned with the front of the vehicle pointed towards southbound traffic. Drivers like myself usually flash the highbeams while travelling northbound to the southbound motorists. If you travel southbound on the PIP after exit 8, make sure you slow down. If the trooper is not there, proceed by to a regular cruising speed. If a trooper is there, and if you feel you are being followed by the state trooper, it would be advisable to turn off at exit 7 and go to either Town Line Road or, if you want to thwart the troopers, turn left after the exit and drive to the Greek Orthodox Church- you can’t miss it.
Blauvelt Road, in Miller Elementary School parking lot
The road has two turns before the school, and the posted speed limit is 30 mph, but most people easily drive 45-50mph. However as you go around the last turn, the limit goes to 15mph for the school zone. Most people dont slow down, and sometimes a cop waits in the far lot. No matter which way you are coming from you cannot see the police car even if its lights are on until it already spots you. Be careful.
