Nassau, New York Speed Traps

I was never caught myself but I always seeing people being pulled over, on both sides of the road. Once or twice during morning rush hour heading south. Mostly Brookville police dept.

The Nassau police sit there for hours and get people for all sorts of things. They are also sitting right beside the Nassau pharmacy in the Cumberland Farms parking lot across the street from the old gas station. You can’t see them literally until you are right by the pharmacy.

within 3 miles of NYC border there are NYS Troopers using radar going both East and West

Cops sit in parking lot waiting for you to exceed 35mph. Real dick heads with no regard for anyone except local yocals!

Trap is Southbound after you get on from Jericho Turnpike. Long open stretch is a temptation. Exploitive cops with lectures. What can I say? The price of doughnuts is going up!
