Very short School Zone is 20MPH between two sets of flashing lights; there are 3 cops waiting every morning to nab you if you even go near 30MPH. When entering School Zone you will probably be going about 40MPH (legally) slow down right away, if you do not hit the School Zone already going 20MPH you will get nabbed, it’s a $300 ticket.

North Avenue near New Rochelle High School

New Rochelle, New YorkJul 12, 20060 Comments

Trap is going northbound on North Ave right after New Rochelle High school. With New Rochelle High School on your right, it’s a block after the traffic light. Local police wait in a road that is slightly diped down to the right. Trees, a house and the unique dip in the road make it hard to spot them until you are too close to slow down or already passed. Large open-multilane road, very tempting spot. Also a technical school zone so 40mph means you can lose your license just that quick. Be careful
