Niskayuna, New York Speed Traps

Heading west on Rosendale Rd., the traps are set at two different sites. I was stopped once and the guy had pulled off the road between the two ponds and was all but invisible until my car was right on top of him. The second place is a pull-off just before the Ferry Rd Bridge, just after the bend in the road.

Niskyuna PD: Unmarked Silver Chevy Impala will sit in the used car lot of Metro Ford and clock cars in both directions on central ave. At first glance, the car will look as if its just another car on the lot, it even has standard plates. Look for the black rims and searchlights to be certain. Officer sometimes will sit in the dunkin’ dougnuts driveway across the street from Metro Ford.

Nisky police park on the island on Grand and normally shoot up the hill. And sometimes down toward Myron St.

Officer will park in residential driveway somewhat hidden or would park in one of the side streets.

Heading east to west there is a crest you go over on St David’s just before Avon Crest Blvd
By the time you see the car it’s too late. Be careful going the other direction also.
