Poestenkill, New York Speed Traps

State Troopers often park behind the corner store located at the intersection of State Route 351 (Farm to Market Road) and County Route 355 (Main Ave.) to catch those who speed and/or those who do not come to a complete stop at the blinking red light. They also park among cars at the mechanic’s shop at the same intersection, or they’ll park in the parking lot of Town Hall. Beware because they really hide out, especially among the cars awaiting repare at the mechanic’s.
