Plainclothes cops are all hiding here..Friend was caught a few times doing 50 in 30 mile zone!

An unmarked Highway-3 car or marked patrol car will park at the corner of Union Turnpike and 195th Street. The officer has proven creative in his duties, as he will park and exit his car and hide behind a tree holding a radar gun pointed at oncoming traffic from Francis Lewis Blvd. He will also park his vehicle northbound on a southbound street, or parallel to Union Turnpike, hidden on the sidewalk. Those who travel this roadway know that the traffic signal from Francis Lewis Blvd is not timed in progression with the next light at 193rd Street, 8 blocks away. Since Union Turnpike is a 3-lane open roadway with a center divider, it’s easy to find yourself traveling above the posted 30 MPH limit. You will be pulled over at 36 MPH or better. You will most definitely see this officer during the morning rush hour as well as mid-morning hours.

the trap seems to be set-up between the hoyt ave and queens blvd. exits . sometimes nyc highway and regular patrol cars i got caught 2:30 in the morning right off the hoyt ave exit by an unmarked crown victoria… i think they were just bored…but i have noticed some enforcement during pm. rush hour both east and west bound in the same vicinity.

for those who dont already know the clearview is one HUGE speed trap…limit is *50 MPH* on a road you can easily (AND SAFELY) go 70 on…if u do u r TOAST …they hide in exit ramps,entrance ramps ,underpasses, bushes, ANYWHERE !!! keep it 55 or less & u r o.k….they should just put a tollbooth on it & cut out the B.S.
