Route 206 in Roscoe
When you exit Rt 17 in Roscoe to take Rt 206, the speed limit is a ridiculous 30 MPH, all the way through town, and then becomes 55 MPH. This is an obvious money maker for the town.

state police using laser (at or beyond its maximum range), primarily in "construction zones" (in which there is typically no construction activity). Several chase cars…I watched four other cars pulled over as I was making my conribution to the NYS coffers. Note, speed limit varies between 55 and 65, for no apparent reason, through the mountains.
