Salamanca, New York Speed Traps

Mostly a trap for speeders entering Salamanca via 219 South. The one lane becomes a two lane as you enter the city and the cops continuously sit there because most people don’t slow down right away.

Speed limits are posted, you need to keep to speed limit. In front of Parkview Supermarket, do not pass on the right side (of a car) unless you are turning into Iroquois Drive. Many cars have been stopped because a car is turning into the Parkview, and the other goes around it and keeps going straight.

Traffic has been re-routed due to a bridge being closed. Traffic is heavier now on North State turning into West State Street.
