400 Expressway near Seneca St exit Bypass

It seems like it’s a once a month deal, could be more. The town fuzz have a SUV sit atop the Seneca St overpass while the marked units await the unfortunate.
The sour taste to this is the speed limit is 55 mph from the NYS Thruway to where the 400 expressway begins which is 65 mph, that distance is less than 1 mile.Looks like a revenue generating ploy for the town, sad.

State Route 400 near Seneca Street

This is the last turnaround before the 400 runs into the 90. West Seneca cops like to sit there at night and wait for cars to come over the hill topping the just-dropped-from-65-to-55 MPH speed limit. A good trick: West Seneca cops do not have thne jurisdiction to pull you over on the 90, only NYS troopers do. If you think you have been caught, just go straight. The West Seneca cop can’t do anything about it. They will only get you if you get off at the exit, or are going southbound. I have only seen cops here at night, but don’t think that’s the only time they’ll be there.
