Worcester, New York Speed Traps
3/4 to 1 mile after Rest Area, on left. Another located about 1.5 mi after Rest Area, in turn-around just before Exit 19. Neither location are visible until after coming around bend.
WESTBOUND: Large turn-around just after entering Otsego County, between lanes; excellent spot for troopers to see west bound traffic cresting hill from Schoharie county.
EASTBOUND: Just inside Schoharie County, just after cresting hill and starting to descend into Schoharie County, located on the right.
These spots are located on the border between 2 state police barracks and are VERY frequently active.
Eastbound on I88 east of Exit 19 for Worcestor just before Hudson Pond (on right) will be sitting on the inside of a sweeping left hand curve on a dirt pull off and is not visible until you see them. Can typically cruise I88 between Oneonta and Schenectady terminus at 80 mph but back it down to under 70 for this section shortly after passing exit 19 until Hudson Pond.
As you go up the hill(slow left curve), just after entering worcester, on the left there is a spot cut into the trees for one trooper, pretty well hidden
