Apex, North CarolinaJul 19, 20120 Comments

Cycle times on yellow to red on a second or two for left turning lane. Apex PD hides in view of the intersection waiting for possible left turn violators. They set a medium with on-coming traffic that can turn right, into your path, so you’re distracted by on-coming traffic for the 2.25 seconds of yellow light. Taking this to NC AG.

Speed limit is 35 and they will enforce at 40.

Olive Chapel Rd. in front of Olive Chapel Elementary

Apex, North CarolinaMar 04, 20100 Comments

There is a slight hill in front of Olive Chapel Elementary School where Apex police like to sit right before, and right after school starts. It is hard to see them no matter which way you are going on the road. They park in the wide shoulder of the road, on the schools side.
