Going west on Fairview towards South Park Mall after you pass by Caribou Coffee on the left/Pizza Hut/Drycleaners, etc. Just as the two lanes turns to three Mr. Officer sits in far right lane just as they turn to three backed up and hidden by small tree…He is sooo Polite, heard he just got promoted to Captain, way to go Officer!

Northlake Mall and Reames Road

Charlotte, North CarolinaApr 12, 20100 Comments

Traveling down Reames Road toward Northlake Mall. Speed limit goes from 35 mph at Sunset and Reames Road intersection to 45 mph at the 4 way stop on Reames Road, back to 35 mph once you cross WT Harris beside North Lake Mall then back to 45 mph at the next stoplight past Northlake Mall. It then changes back to 35 mph once you continue into Huntersville. This is one straight road but the speed limit changes 5 times. 90% of the time 2 officers are sitting in the median on Northlake Dr. and 1 is sitting at the church once you cross into Huntersville.

Sunset Road Between Peachtree and Oakdale Road

Charlotte, North CarolinaApr 11, 20100 Comments

This four mile streatch of road is used for instruction to all the new officers in the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department. Most days several units are sitting in the church parking lot right where it turns from 45mph to 35 mph. It always seems to be an older officer mentoring a new officer to the force. Good luck catching a break from a guy who may be writing his first citation ever.

Old Pineville Road

Charlotte, North CarolinaApr 08, 20100 Comments

Since the light rail has been placed along Old Pineville road, the speed limit has been lowered to 30 MPH. Police have begun sitting expecially along where the Old Pineville connects to South Blvd. It’s easy for them to hide in the parking lots of neighboring businesses and sit in vacant lots since businesses have closed along that area.

Eastifeld rd and Old Statesville rd.

Charlotte, North CarolinaMar 18, 20100 Comments

Apparently there is a new sign up. If you are coming from 485 to eastfield you can not make a left turn onto eastifield from old Statesville. You have to use Alexandriana after getting off 485 to cut over to eastfield.
Police are all around from 7-9 am and 4-6- pm.

*****BEWARE IT WILL COST YOU $155.00 FINE *****
