State patrol tend to sit on the entrance ramp coming from hwy 74 west onto 85 north. Even though it is a 65 speed zone, motorist tend to exceed this limit due to a downhill condition coming off a series of straight open road.

Going 85 S. at night there is usually a trooper, or a camaro, park on the left side of the road right after you pass exit #26 belmont abby college. and also as you pass the exit and you aproach the next bridge right before the next exit there will be another one, park right under the bridge, at dark night. so beware he uses pop- up cannot see it until it’s too late.
