Bryant Boulevard near New Garden Road

Greensboro, North CarolinaJun 24, 20080 Comments

Bryant Blvd— Between New Garden Road and the Greensboro Triad Airport—Evening hours. Appears that want to patrol this new stretch of road especially with the new construction to support the new Fed-x Hub.

Interstate New I40 Bypass near Airport to I85

Greensboro, North CarolinaMay 25, 20080 Comments

This portion of bypass just opened few months ago. They are strictly enforcing 65mph and 55mph speed limits. Has limited access but has turned into a good moneymaker for the city.

Guilford College Road near Market Street

Greensboro, North CarolinaApr 05, 20080 Comments

Speed limit on Guilford College between Bridford/Hornaday all the way up to New Garden is 35 on a 4 lane with a center turn road, this is obviously too low. Officers sit in the vacant lot (formerly where the Goodwill truck sat) and anywhere they can hide in that 35mph zone.

Piedmont Parkway near Wendover Avenue

Greensboro, North CarolinaMar 15, 20080 Comments

When they opened the new Piedmont Parkway Between Wendover and Tallent Rd going toward the Business Park the High Point Police will sit in the unfinished roads opposite the Apartment buildings. They do this at Mid-Day and many of the night hours (easier for them not to get noticed). When going toward Tallent the hill makes you unaware that you’ve picked up speed.

Walker Avenue near Lindell Road

Greensboro, North CarolinaFeb 19, 20080 Comments

Police car parks on grass on NW corner of Lindell & Walker Avenue and can not be seen until too late when going East. The speed limit is fair since Walker is a very narrow street with lots of parking on both sides, walker, joggers, dog walkers, etc going to and from the park (also a lot of bar traffic from Elam Avenue). If caught speeding on this street, sorry but it is deserved!
