Landis, North Carolina Speed Traps

Some sit at Sonic Drive In. Others sneek up on you,not too common, but does happen. It’s a small town, Not sure if jurisdiction is shared….they need more enforcement, in my opinion.

west "A" street in Kannapolis becomes west 5th street at the Landis,NC line……and the speed limit drops from 45 to 35…..Landis P.D. often is seen parked at Airport rd and W 5th street,allthough they will give you a warning ticket for between 35-45…..46 gets you a citation,and because the road is 45 in Kannapolis,many people get popped.
