Two or more police will sit approximately 1/4 mile up the highway, sometimes standing outside of their vehicles pointing the radar guns at cars to check speeds and call ahead to other officers waiting to pull over drivers speeding. There is also a motorcycle police officer who can be hard to detect…especially at dusk.
