Richlands police will park facing east toward Jacksonville just after the first side road as you enter the city limits. Will stop speeders going into and out of town. As you crest the hill the posted speed drops from 55 to 45 and then from 45 to 35. If you’re below 38 in the 35 they usually leave you alone.

Local enforcement sits off the road ajacent to Richlands High School just past Richlands Middle School on the east end of town and in a church parking lot just west of the Richlands Plaza (Food Lion)shopping center or in the vicinity. Results of violators is listed in the local paper weekly and is found to contain mostly people who are not from the local vicinity. Most are Marines, beach owners traveling through to the base or beaches. One or two locals might show up occasionally as offenders. The next stop west of Richlands is Beulaville, the next listed speed trap on this route.
