When you see Wendy’s heading north into Shelby, SLOW DOWN. The Shelby police are all obnoxious jerks as well, and love to abuse their power. No warnings here.

Speed limit drops from 65 TO 55 where 74 AND 74 business merge at the Rutherford & Cleveland Co. line. They will sit on both sides of road for the first mile looking for the drivers that don’t reduce their speed.

Speed limit is 65 mph traveling out of Rutherford Co. and is reduced to 55 mph upon entering Cleveland County. Hwy Patrol regularly work in teams issuing tickets at this location in Cleveland County.
