Taylorsville, North Carolina Speed Traps
Hwy 64/90 near adams pond rd intersection
Just after the all-american gas station, down the hill after the bridge. State troppers sit way off the road and clock drivers topping the hill. Before you realize your speeding you are already clocked. The speed limit is 55. The one that got me was sitting nearly in the ditch, after mid-night, with no lights on at all. This was the truest definition of a speed trap. Please all drivers be careful.
64/90
Between Statesville, and Taylorsville on 64/90. If he isn’t clocking you that just means they have one already and that person is getting a ticket. One mile over 55 and they will stop you.
1st Ave Dr SE
The speed limit on this road is 25MPH and if you are going over they will definitely pull you. The speed limit is too low for this road and no one drives 25MPH through there. But if you do now you’re going to get a ticket.
State Highway 90 near Old Wilkesboro Rd. Road
Once you turn onto Old wilkesboro rd. its easy to get out of the limit going over the hill just before you get out of the city limits they’ll get ya.
Liledoun Rd of Hwy 64
The Police Dept. has radar now. The cops are like a bunch of kids in a candy store. There is one that is from up north. You can tell he is not from North Carolina. Anyways the cops are working Liledoun Rd hard, and they are usually near the second entrance to the high school.
