Wilmington PD now has a late model Red Ford Mustang GT w/ Crome Rims and Hood Scoop. Lights are hard to see so if you see WZ for the first three letters don’t race it, it’ll smoke your ride and get ya with a nice ticket.

Dawson Street near 5th and 6th Street

Wilmington, North CarolinaOct 14, 20071 Comments

Located on Dawson Street usually between 5th and 6th streets. Unmarked Dodge Charger usually sits around the afternoon rushhour — after 330 till 6ish and runs rear radar from the rightside of the road just as you crest the 3rd street hill. Speed limit is 35 but everyone travels on average 45… limit is extremely too low.

Rogersville Road near Eastwood Road

Wilmington, North CarolinaSep 12, 20070 Comments

This is a major cut-through road to avoid the horrendous traffic from Eastwood Road to Oleander/Greenville Loop Road. Speed limit was recently dropped from 35 to 25 mph in this neighborhood. Cops regularly set up on small, blind side streets and get people speeding around blind curves. This is a "lucrative" speed trap area, and cops can be set up ANY TIME OF DAY! Be wary amd just don’t speed, b/c the blind curves may prevent line-of-sight radar detectors from saving you.
