US 301 between Wilson and Kenly NC is a alternate route for I-95…State Troopers and Wilson County Sheriff Dept. roam often and are relentless with anyone going over the posted speed. Lucama is between Wilson and Kenly and is 45mph. Be Careful before and after!
Airport Boulevard near Raleigh Road
WPD will sit in the parking lot of the new office complex (just passed save more gas station) usually facing away from Raleigh Road Parkway, reading radar going twards Raleigh Road Parkway. Also WPD patrols the entire stretch of Airport Boulevard constantly. This is also where a WPD District station is located.
US Highway 264 alt near I 95 overpass
While traveling on 264 alternate, overpassing I-95 my radar detector sounds everytime because there are two stationary radars checking speeders. I have not seen any photo takers yet but the speed is surly checked. Then a hwy patrol sits in the BP gas station and awaits the motorist to drive by.
Interstate 95 near Exit Number 106
On Friday 6/11/2004 at 11:00am near exit 106 saw police vehicle in median radaring north bound traffic.
