Multiple motorcycle cops. No visible radar. End of the month, pulling over multiple motorists.

Research Parkway

This is a newly-built four-lane highway near downtown. The speed limit is an absurdly low 25 mph. The cops claim they are just enforcing the law, but they are clearly using this road to boost their stats and avoid the real crime in the city.

Hwy 52 North

Officer hidden under overpass catches drivers where Speed Limit changes from 60 to 55. He said I was going 71, but ticket said 73. I thought I was within 9 miles of the speed limit.
Interesting part is I was the LAST car in a column of 4 or 5 that were all going the same speed/same direction (north) !!!!!!!! I had a Tennessee plate and others were North Carolina.
Wondering if they have a monthly quota since it was on 4/29.

Silas Creek Pkwy approaching Robinhood Rd.

South bound after the intersection for WFU and before Robinhood Rd. Limit is 45 but one could easily go 70 without a thought. As you round the bend to your right there are often hard-to-see bike cops or suv cops there using laser. They seem to be waiting of for 60+ speeds but I’d go slower be safe. They are often in groups of up to five. (It is strange to me why the traps are so often on safe spots to go fast.)

On Silas Creek Parkway as you cross over Business-40

cops sits in the bend just as you enter the junction making it difficult to spot him until its to late. especially if someone is in front of you, then he picks off the last car usually. speed limit is set at 45. An alert drive can easily do 57 safely. The on and off ramp on the north bound side should be re-engineered as cars have hard time merging and exiting being that junctions are so close together. South bound lanes are exist and entrance diverge from each other so this is not an issue on that side. Other than this cars have ample merge lane to build up momentum needed all the way from country club road to Reynolda Blvd.
