This trap is located at an intersection, when you stop at the red light and turn right, befre long you are stopped. Last night I was pulled over and 4 others the same during my stop. The RCMP say "You must stop for 3 seconds"…I thought a stop was a stop.

Heading East just after the Pictou county line coming into Antigonish you come around a light right turn and crest a hill and look down a long fast straight gulley in the highway….RCMP sit on the east bound shoulder and gun people. They get you good cause the are at the centre of the straight stretch at he bottom of the gulley very dangerous spot cause you are all of a sudden over the hill. this location West bound from Antigonish is the straight stretch just after the passing lanes after the the Riverside Speedway and the Beaver Mountain Picnic Park.

This speed trap is at the top of Beech HILL on the Trans-Canada Highway. Heading mostly West bound on the tch aprox. 1.2 km from the irving gas station. As you come to the the top of the hill at theend of the pasing lanes you are suddenly ontop of a blind crest and into a sweeping left turn. The RCMP sit at angle at a private woods road exit with reward facing radar and you are on top of them before you it. Haven’t been nailed there guess why..hahaha! A Warning To All! Antigonish Has An Abundance OF RCMP Officers Who Are Not From Here And Have Huge Ego Problems. They Have Turned Us Into Speedtrap Alley!

This very very very horrible spot is a double edged sword. The RCMP sit in a Catholic Cemetary on the East bound side of the Trans Canda directly accross from ST. F. X. university and in the centre of the divided median where you can cut across traffic to get into the cemetary. This place is approx .22km east bound from the traffic lights where the Sterlings apples store is, and approx .65 km West bound fromthe traffic lights at the Dairy Queen. They are there anytime but usually use a midnight blue Ford Crown Victoria no roof-lights and black rims…..invisible at night but not to me! hahaha
