Austintown, Ohio Speed Traps

Austintown Cops are doing flips between the Casino and Mineral Ridge border on route 46. They are also hiding towards the left past the Ice House Inn. Also when driving into Mineral Ridge, the Weatherfield Police sit across from the school next to the closed down ice cream place on the right. A quarter mile up from there, they are also sitting around the firehouse on the left. They are also doing flips looking for speeders. These two areas are hot with the police so don’t plan on speeding or even drinking in this area or you will be one of the numbers like everyone else.

On I-80 between Rt. 46 and the Ohio Turnpike are three emergency turnarounds that are heavily patroled by OHP due to the heavy truck traffic and Turnpike exit 218 (the busiest of the turnpike). If you’re heading west after Rt. 46 as you top the hill theres a turnaround there where they run radar. It’s nearly impossible to slow down fast enough not to get tagged.

Speed Limit is 25mph and the police sit along there due to the schools on that road.
