Bentleyville, Ohio Speed Traps

There is almost always a BVille cop sitting in that little park just off the bridge, in the Church parking lot, or in the general vicinity. I’m not sure it’s so much for speeding as much as it is for catching people that run that quick changing stop light at the intersection.

Travel East from Rt. 91 on Solon Road and you will enter one of Ohio’s oldest known traps. Old timers remember this one from the 50’s and 60’s. Recently, Bentleyville has again been sitting in driveways along Solon Road a 35 mph road. At night, with black cars, makes them hard to see to the unexpected visitor.
