Berea, Ohio Speed Traps
Lewis Road
In a parking lot pass the railroad tracks across the street from the cemetery, there will sometimes be a cop sitting towards the back of the parking lot. Very difficult to spot by motorists.
On Front Street between Bagley and the Point (Rocky River)
Since the Front Street overpass has been completed the speed limit of 25 mph is strictly enforced. Browns fans and college students beware. The police park on the side streets or drive on the road–radar ever at the ready.
Patient First Medical Building,W Bagley Rd & Barrett Rd
A Berea police officer sits with his lights off in the driveway next to the building, albeit without authorization from the owner of the property and traffics the light at the nearby intersection. Trafficking off private property is illegal without written permission from the owner and the police officer must have his light on at all times.
Prospect Rd & Jonathan Dr
There is a Berea or Strongsville(dividing line is very close here) that sits in the church at this location. I would wager it is an illegal trafficking location as the cop probably does not have permission by the church to traffic off their property and he sits with his lights off, both of which are illegal.
Bagley Rd & Lewis Rd
There is a hill and it is 25 miles an hour, they like to sit at the top of the hill and enforce the 25 even though it’s 35 500 feet away.
