US-33 at MP14(Hopewell Twp)

Celina, OhioMar 03, 20170 Comments

Officer was sitting on US 33 Westbound in Hopewell Twp, on Feb. 18, 2017 pulled me over by hand signal as I passed him, I kept on driving. Didn’t come after me immediately, even though he saw me first. Pulled over a driver from Georgia, then came after me with his lights. Officer mentions that he couldn’t see my front plate. I have Florida plates. That’s because most out of state drivers don’t have them, so he was specifically targeting out of state drivers. I was told I was going 70 in a 55 zone. Avoid US33 altogether if your an out of state driver as you will be targeted.

State Route 29 East near Staeger Road

Celina, OhioAug 31, 20070 Comments

This part of State Route 29 is east of Celina. The speed limit used to be 65 but was changed due to city limits a few years ago to 50 but people still drive like it is 65. So City Police are pretty consistent on sitting on the Staeger Road waiting for speeder. So go 50!
