Fairmount Road near Between Lee and Coventry Street

Cleveland Heights, OhioFeb 20, 20080 Comments

The police car sits facing oncoming traffic as it heads west into downtown Cleveland. They sit in one of the crossovers as this is a street that is 2 lanes both ways, but divided by a wide grassy center strip. I got caught heading to the hospital to see my dying father going 42 in a 35 in the middle of the morning, crying as I drove. Policeman had no sympathy, ticket cost over $100.00, he didn’t believe me and I was very tempted to send him a copy of dad’s death notice the following week. It was my first ticket in 25 yrs of driving.
