Cleveland, Ohio Speed Traps
West 130th by the 480
A bunch of new speed and red light cameras have been installed. Speed limit is 35 be careful.
St. Clair Ave.
Basically, all of Saint Clair is a speed trap. However, their favorite spots are the dirt turn around area near E. 105th and the old parking lot near East 72nd. The same officer seems to sit here all day, every day. He doesn’t even give ten over in this four lane industrial district. Beware!
St. Clair between East Blvd and E. 110th
This is now fourth district’s favorite revenue-enhancing location. They sit between the tall warehouses anywhere on St. Clair for these ten blocks. Anything over 32 in a 25 and they have you. There are no schools or homes nearby, so such ruthless enforcement is unnecessary.
Lorain Ave. near W.112th St.
Sits in the Westown Shopping Center lot shooting radar at Lorain traffic. This stretch of Lorain is a wide, four lane avenue that most would expect to be 35 MPH, not 25.
Pearl Rd. near the Zoo
Officers love to sit on three side streets off of Pearl Rd. near the Zoo. They are Wildlife Way, Bradwell Ave, and Archwood Ave. All of these side streets happen to be right where the speed limit changes from 35 to 25. Disgusting revenue-enhancement.
