Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio Speed Traps

The cops sit in the parking lot of the Old Ray Thomas Car Dealer. The lot is empty and he is very visible. He is watching coming and going on Front Street and turning on to Chestnut Blvd.

Police will set at the Flower shop and catch speeders traveling towards State Rd. this is also a high DUI stop area. Most nights there are 2 or 3 stops that end up infront of my driveway all summer long.

There are police officers stationed through out the entire Portage Trail road, usually from State Road to Route 8 North. A police officer will sit at the Sunoco gas station on the corner of Portage Trl and State Rd, they are also usually hidden in the back of the old Big Lots parking lot on Portage Trl and Lillis Dr. They also like to sit in the parking lot across from Whisker’s Barbershop on Portage Trl and I believe it is 3rd street?

It’s always a bad idea to speed anywhere in Cuyahoga Falls but anywhere on State Road is very bad. This is a fairly four-lane street that is 25 mph from Graham Road at the north end, all the way to Akron at the south end. Police presence is heavy on this street which should be 35 for its entire length.

A police officer will sit in the driveway to the Little Black Tigers Baseball fields. They like to hide behind the cattails in the swamp land.
