161 in front of the Dublin Cemetery

During school zone hours a cop will sit at the Dublin church and catch drivers heading east bound on 161. They will also sit at Sells Middle school and shoot laser on drivers heading westbound. They are there nearly everyday.

Dublin Road near Limestone Ridge Drive

Dublin, OhioSep 18, 20080 Comments

The Dublin cop will sit in the Limestone Ridge Dr. road right where it meets Dublin Rd. (Limestone Ridge Dr. is a branch of this road, so it is in essence a three-way), and he will radar the NB or SB. Dublin Rd. used to be 25, and public outcry changed it to 35, so now he doesn’t sit there as much, but I still see him every once in a while. I was going 40, and did not get stopped, but I would still be careful as there is a school on Tuttle rd. not too far away, and during school hours he may stop you because busses go through there and stuff.

State Route 33 starting from Dublin/Columbus near Exit Number 111 on I75

Dublin, OhioJun 03, 20080 Comments

Recently I’ve made several trips from Columbus to I75 (Wapakoneta) and there are no less than 5 cops the whole way on State Route 33, with multiple speed traps including bridges, and offramps. Often people are either pulled over or are going exactly the 65 mph speed limit and not 1 mph higher. There is so much patrolling that it’s beginning to get me angry. I don’t plan on using SR 33 because it’s like asking for trouble.
