Route 30 Chester Exit
Day and night, driving through Route 30, as you near the bottom of the steep hill ready to cross the bridge into Ohio, there is frequently a cop/sheriff sitting there at the bottom, day or night. I’ve been caught here once going up the hill… as you go around the turn going up, he’s sitting right there on the side of the road. I’d say that I see him maybe once weekly on my regular commute into Pittsburgh.
In front of middle school entering/leaving city on route 7
Usually, during the restricted speed hours in the morning of 20MPH, one or two cops with be sitting on one/both sides of the road in front of the middle school. I pick up laser from these cops much more often than radar on my detector.
Between Wellsville and East Liverpool on Route 7
East Liverpool Township, as well as state highway patrol, sit just around bends on either side of this highway and wait for unsuspecting motorists. They can best be seen during the heaviest traffic hours: 7:30 a.m. ~ 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 ~ 6:00 p.m. They’re also there in the later evening hours.
