Empire barney fife sit around the bend where the speed limit drops from 55 to 50mph

Empire police love to sit at the top of the ramp and along the highway for the next 1/2 mile. The speed drops to 40mph and they are sitting right @ that sign. Even though route 7 is not in their corp. limits and they have no jurastiction on route 7 they still write a ton of tickets. Meanwhile the residents of Empire are having problems with break-ins!!!

Officers routinely sit in the State Route 7 north side just past the State Route 152 exit. The speed limit at that point goes from 55 mph to 50 mph. You can not easily see the Officer until you have crested the hill just past the exit, by that time its too late.

Empire Police sits usually north bound on rte 7 right at the on ramp from st rte 152. They are there anytime around 8pm until early in the morning and usually most enforcement is conducted on the weekends. They have a dark colored cruiser and usually sit with parking lights on.
