Fostoria, Ohio Speed Traps
State Rt. 12 & Findlay St.
Every morning there is a Fostoria police cruiser parked by the side of the Fostoria Storage Center. The cop does not usually run radar but he mostly watches for out of state drivers and erratic driving. Fostoria is no town to mess with, some cops are corrupt and will make up reasons to pull over and to arrest. If you are smart and throw the law back in their face they will not know what to do! Remember You Do Not have to answer Any Question during a traffic stop! By the bill of rights we have protection against self incrimination.
US Highway 23 near US Highway 23
All of Fostoria has become a speed trap since the enactment of a "zero tolerance" policy in 2005. All the major highways entering and exiting town – 12 east and west, 18 east and west, 23/199 north and south and 613 east and west are all being patrolled by local police and sheriff’s deputies from Hancock, Wood and Seneca counties, as well as State Patrol troopers. Fostoria is looking for any excuse for a pull-over, (improper turns, license plate lights, rolling stops – the works), not just speed, so drive carefully through town.
