Harrison, Ohio Speed Traps
i275 and i74
as many as 10 highway patrol pulling over everyone in the high speed lane. They are causing near misses and traffic backups for miles. I saw at least ten cars pulled over at the same time. This is suppose to continue for 6 weeks.
Speed trap on State Street
Officer (name omitted) usually parked close to the rail roads.
West road by I-74 over pass
Police very often set in the Harrison fire department on West road, and aim radar at the top of the overpass, speed limit is only 25mph.
North Dixie Drive / North of Needmore Road
Harrison Township Sherriff cars sit in the parking lots along North Dixie. They usally sit perpendicular to traffic so they can go in either direction. I stuck my tongue out at some young cop and he got extremely angry…tailgated me out of his designated township into another one and cussed me out when I pulled into my driveway. Then he tried to scare me by threatening to give me a citation because I had a cover on my license plate.
Harrison Ave. (entire length) Campbell Rd.(entire length) State Line Rd (entire length)
Beware of speed limit signs. Young people seem to be a popular target. Will request to search your vehicle on most stops. Small town with man bored officers! The popular phrase is probable cause. Cracked tail light lens, etc.
