Holland, Ohio Speed Traps
King Road between Hill Avenue and Angola Road
Starting with the red light camera on Hill and King, going south the speed limit (only one sign near the end of the road marks it, by the way) is 35 mph. The cops hide in the driveway to a private lake with their lights off. This is rural residential, with no sidewalks, and little traffic. The Holland police , Springfield Township police, and the State Highway Patrol all coop at this location, but if they are awake, they’ll nab you. and keep your seat belt on: it’s another lucrative money maker for the village and the township.

It is 35 mph through that area. Since there is construction on Hill past King, a lot of cars take that detour. At different times, I have seen the Holland/Springfield police pull over 4 drivers.
Hill Street near Mccord Street
Going towards Mccord from as close as King on Hill the speed limit is posted as 50 mph and going in the opposite direction crossing Mccord on hill the speed limit is posted as 35. I have seen alot of tickets in this area. I haven’t personally received one, but unsure what the actual limit is here.
