Stow Road near Railroad tracks

HPD targets north and southbound traffic! If you speed on that road, just tell the officer you’re ready to sign the ticket before he even speaks to you! Those guys are good and they will get you, trust me and my check book!

Hudson Drive near O’Brien Cemetery Lane

Hudson, OhioApr 04, 20081 Comments

The Hudson Police sit at the end of the gravel drive at the O’Brien Cemetery pretty often. They seem to be checking speeds for north- AND south-bound traffic on Hudson Dr. They got me going south-bound (62 in a 35).
To be fair, there’s a lot of houses in the area, and the speed limit signs ARE very clearly posted all the way along the road. But you can’t even see the police sitting there when heading north…though I was going south.
The Hudson Police are the nicest people you’ll ever get a ticket from. They’re all "sir", and "please", and "thank you"…I couldn’t believe my ears when I heard myself thank the guy for my ticket and wish him a nice day!
Anyway, be careful, because the signs say 35 mph and the Hudson Police are out there!

State Route 303 by Acme Plaza near State Route 91 or Darrow Rd

Hudson, OhioMar 20, 20080 Comments

I was pulled over traveling on 303 (towards Streetsboro) right at the McDonald’s in the Acme Plaza for going 29 in a 25. Of course, the police woman cited me for going 4 MPH’s over and as a result, I received a ticket with a very hefty fine. I guess Hudson cops have nothing better to do…
