Kent Police love this speed trap. Kent cops will sit in the Standing Rock cemetery driveway across from Roosevelt High School waiting for victims to generate revenue.
State Route 43 near Cherry Street
Kent police will sit in the parking lot of the old Pizza Hut restaurant next to Mc Donalds. This speed trap is easy revenue for the city because everybody drives 30-35mph including Kent cops.
State Route 59 near Sixth Avenue
State Troopers like to sit at the isolated spot of Gabriele Brothers parking lot close to 59. There are usually two patrol cars there the first & last week of every month.
State Route 59 near Verner Road
Speed limit drops from 35 in Stow to 25 as soon as you hit the city limits. The officers often hide in the car lots and local businesses as drivers,traveling east or west on Rt. 59, approach the car strip speed trap. IT is less than 1/2 a mile at 25 mph, but it generates a great deal of revenue.

Officer hides off side of road. Also will get you for a rolling stop at stop sign
